Step 4 - Part 1: Academic History

This is where you enter your record of schools, courses and grades.

 

 

 

Entering Schools

ENTER all SCHOOLS you attended from the ninth grade on. Include any COLLEGES where you took courses during high school, any summer schools, and your junior high school, if you attended ninth grade there.

To enter each school:

CLICK the ADD A SCHOOL button to open a popup window in which you can enter each school's details.

ENTER the school's NAME and ADDRESS and your DATES OF ATTENDANCE. Estimate your end date if you are still attending this school.

 

  

— If you attended one school over two separate time periods, enter your dates of attendance for that school as if there were no gap, starting with the first month and year you attended and ending with the last.

— If you are attending high school and are concurrently enrolled in a college course, your high school is considered your CURRENT SCHOOL.

CHOOSE a TERM SYSTEM. (If none of the term names are an exact match, select your term type based on the number of final transcript grades you received for a year-long course. You may choose more than one term type if your school used multiple systems.

CHOOSE a Grading system.

CHOOSE a SPECIALIZED CURRICULUM, if appropriate. If you attend a YEAR-ROUND school, specify your TRACK.

SAVE your entry by clicking SAVE SCHOOL at the bottom of the popup.

The main page refreshes and displays a SUMMARY of your school information.

 

 

 

 

REPEAT this process to enter additional schools.

If you are completing Advanced Level Examinations in the British system, INDICATE your last school attended as your HIGH SCHOOL OF GRADUATION. When you SAVE your school, INDICATE HIGH SCHOOL as the type of school in the dropdown menu in the popup.

If your school used a method other than A-B-C-D-F or 1-100, CHOOSE OTHER.
