Reporting Tests Results
Freshman Applicants
You must take the SAT Reasoning Test or ACT Assessment plus Writing, and two SAT Subject Tests.
If you are applying for admission for fall 2007, you must take the tests no later than December 2006.
For SAT and ACT test dates, see important dates and deadlines.
You are responsible for making sure that the testing agencies report your scores directly to the Admissions Office at each campus to which you apply.
If you are applying for the fall term, the Admissions Offices must receive your test results from the agencies no later than the date in January when December test scores are normally reported.
If you apply as a freshman for the spring or winter term, check with the campus Admissions Office about relevant testing deadlines.
You can get information about reporting scores for the SAT from the College Board. You can report ACT scores from the ACT website.
TOEFL, IELTS and
APIEL
If your native language is not English and your education in secondary/high school or college/university has been in a country where English is not the native language, you must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) examination (academic modules) — or must have taken the Advanced Placement exam in International English Language (APIEL) prior to June 2002 — and arrange to have your scores reported to the Admissions Office at each campus to which you apply. If you are applying for the fall term, the Admissions Offices must receive your test results from the testing agency no later than January.
For more information on tests for non-native speakers, see International
Applicants.
