Regents Scholarships

Notification of Awards
Begins March 1.

Academic Criteria
Freshman Applicants: Depth and breadth of academic preparation, test scores and GPA are among criteria reviewed.

Other Criteria
Other factors considered may include personal statement included with the application, extracurricular activities, and other indicators of academic excellence and promise. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident or have official refugee status.

Restricted Scholarships

Students may apply for restricted scholarships by completing the scholarship opportunities section of step 2 in the application for admission. Students must also file the 2009-10 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 2, 2010.

Notification of Awards
Students will be informed of their restricted scholarship eligibility when they are notified of eligibility for other financial aid.
