Restricted Scholarships

The University administers hundreds of scholarship programs that are available to students who meet specific criteria related to academic interests, career plans, ancestry, place of residence, ethnicity, etc. The University can determine your eligibility for many of these so-called restricted scholarship programs from information you provide in your application. The University needs additional information to determine your eligibility for other restricted scholarships.

As you fill out the application, you will be asked to review a list of eligibility characteristics and check off those that apply to you. (If you are filing a paper application, you may enter the appropriate scholarship codes where requested.) Doing so will automatically place you under consideration for any related scholarships or awards.

The number of restricted scholarships awarded and the size of awards vary from year to year depending upon the number of eligible students. Not all restricted scholarships are available at all campuses. Some campuses may request additional information to establish eligibility. If additional information is needed, you will be contacted.
