UC opens opportunities for more Californians
UC has recently launched three major initiatives to broaden admissions opportunities and to make sure low-income families are not shut out of a university education because of money. Changes in the freshman admission requirements, more UC slots for transfer students and a new financial aid program will make UC a reality for more Californians.

One of the highlights at UC Day in Sacramento on March 10 will be Today's Ideas, Tomorrow's Solutions, a panel discussion with UC faculty. UC experts will discuss the most critical problems facing California today and share their perspectives on how to solve them.
