The University reviews its research relationships for potential conflicts of interest. Campus conflict of interest committees work to ensure that researchers' personal interests in, or commitments to, entities outside the University do not compromise or appear to compromise their objectivity in performing research, in mentoring students involved in research, or in reporting a project's results.
