Creating Change Initiative
Amy Levine, Presidential Staff Fellow, Linda Williams, Associate President
and Sheila O’Rourke, Assistant Vice Provost, Equity and Diversity
visited all the UC campuses, UCOP and Lawrence Berkeley National Lab
to solicit ideas and collect information on innovative local programs
that address the challenges faced by women at UC. The purpose of the
visits was to gather information on current practices regarding advancing
the professional career development of UC's women, determine which
practices can be replicated and assess whether a system-wide approach
to these issues would be useful.
