THE MARLAN AND ROSEMARY BOURNS COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING

Transfer applicants will be selected on the basis of academic preparation as assessed by their GPA in academic coursework, completion of required major preparatory coursework and a minimum GPA of 2.8 in all transferable coursework.

COLLEGE OF HUMANITIES, ARTS, AND SOCIAL SCIENCES

Business Administration

Additional emphasis is placed on preparation. Transfer applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and must complete all breadth requirements (or IGETC) and at least seven of 10 published lower division major prerequisites.

COLLEGE OF NATURAL AND AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES

Transfer applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.7 in transferable coursework. Transfer applicants to majors in Biochemistry; Biological Sciences; Biology, Botany and Plant Science; and Chemistry must have completed one-year sequences in three specified areas of science and mathematics. Applicants to the Plant Biology major must have completed one-year sequences in two specified areas of science, and are urged to complete one year of college calculus.
