Transfer applicants interested in applying to Bioengineering, Bioengineering: Biotechnology, Computer Science and Computer Engineering (within the Computer Science and Engineering Department) and Computer Engineering (within the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department) must also select an alternate major on the UC application. Students admitted to UCSD who are not admitted directly into one of these majors will be admitted into their alternate major, provided space is available.
