Dynes learned how local high school and college students are benefiting from UC academic preparation programs and how UC is helping local farmers and growers.

Dynes met with local agricultural leaders and paid a visit to UC-run Elkus Ranch, a facility which helps educate youth about the environment with hands-on programs.
