Work Under Way

Current Initiatives
As UCOP’s restructuring moves into its next phase, a number of work groups have formed to review and recommend operational improvements in several areas. These groups have enlisted members from department leadership and from staff closest to the day-to-day work. Questions for any of these groups can be sent through the feedback form.

Position Development and Legislative Analysis
The new unit would support the President and leadership in developing proactive positions on key policy issues, particularly those that cross divisional lines.  In addition, the unit would consolidate many legislative coordination activities that currently take place at the divisional level, relying on input and analysis that would continue to be provided by subject matter experts in OP’s policy units.
