IT Guidance Committee

About Us

UC Provost Rory Hume chairs the IT Guidance Committee, which is also being led by academic and IT leaders from across the campuses and at the Office of the President.

Additional UCOP leadership is being provided by Dan Greenstein, Vice Provost for Academic Information & Strategic Services, and Kristine Hafner, Associate Vice President and Chief Information Officer. They are responsible for the planning and coordination of the ITGC and its various activities. Katherine Mitchell, UC Organizational Development Consultant, provides project design/management and stakeholder engagement services.

The focus areas are being supported in a variety of ways, depending upon need. Each focus area has a UCOP consultant and an ITGC liaison assigned to it (see list below). In some cases, work groups have been established to provide guidance throughout the ITGC process. In other areas, staff, faculty and students throughout the system are being convened for one-day discussions.
