Charge:

The ITGC will seek to:

    •    Evaluate the current state of the UC networking infrastructure
    •    Identify the best in global networking activities
    •    Position UC for competitive advantage on a global basis
    •    Identify segment users and service models (including network management capability)
    •    Develop the recommended architecture for the next generation UC network infrastructure
    •    Estimate costs of network upgrade options

Supported by: Advanced Networking Services Work Group and the Research Cyberinfrastructure Advisory Group

Advanced Networking Services Work Group

The Work Group will include members of, and consult with, the Universitywide Communications Planning Group (CPG) and the newly formed Research Computing Group (RCG), and working closely with CENIC management and technical staff.
