Wyatt R. Hume
Provost and Executive VP - Academic & Health Affairs

Dear Colleagues:

The University's current long-range enrollment projections extend through 2010. At the January 2007 Regents meeting, we announced that the development of new long-range enrollment projections will be a significant focus of our academic planning activities in the 2007-08 academic year. Campuses and the Office of the President have now begun the first phase of this planning cycle, development of preliminary systemwide and campus-level enrollment projections through the year 2020-2021. These projections are due to the Legislature in March 2008.

This website is designed as a reference point for University staff working on this task. We will update it regularly as new documents are produced and will also post questions and answers that we think may be of value to all campuses. Campuses are encouraged to send us materials that they think colleagues throughout the University may find helpful; please send these to lrephelp@ucop.edu.

I look forward to continuing to work with all of you as we chart a course for enrollment growth that will further enhance our ability to serve the state of California through teaching, research, and public service.

Sincerely,

Wyatt R. Hume
Provost and Executive Vice President
