BUDGET UPDATE
Re: May Revision

The May Revision issued today (May 12) makes small adjustments to the governor’s January state budget proposal for the University of California. The principal changes are a proposed augmentation of $1 million, on a one-time basis in 2006-07, for faculty recruitment and start-up costs supporting an expansion of undergraduate and graduate nursing programs; and a $3.8 million reduction in the 2005-06 budget related to final enrollment levels.
