Advisory committee for selecting a new Merced chancellor to meet Sep. 8

The Committee to Advise the President on the Selection of a Chancellor of the Merced Campus and the University of California Board of Regents’ Committee on Grounds and Buildings will meet concurrently on Friday, Sep. 8, at the UC Office of the President headquarters in Oakland (1111 Franklin St.).

The closed-session meeting is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m., and adjourn at approximately 2 p.m.

The advisory committee includes five regents who also serve on the regents’ grounds and buildings committee, which would constitute a quorum of the latter group. No grounds and buildings committee business will be considered at the meeting.
