University of California officials reached a tentative agreement with the California Nurses Association late Friday evening on a new contract for UC's nurses. This was the third agreement made between the university and a union representing UC employees in a week. 
 
The University of California also reached tentative agreements with CWA Local 9119 on a new contract for UC's research support professionals and technical employees, as well as with University Council -- American Federation of Teachers on a new contract for UC's librarians.
