This is a Notice of Meeting of the Committee on Grounds and Buildings of the University of California Board of Regents on Tuesday, Jan. 18, at the UCSF Laurel Heights campus, 3333 California St., in San Francisco.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. with public comment, followed by open session.
In the open session, the committee will consider action to approve the Berkeley campus’ Long Range Development Plan. The committee will also consider action on budget and design approvals for a multi-use stadium at UC Davis and design and environmental approvals for the UC San Diego Super Computer Center expansion and UC Merced’s Gallo Recreation and Wellness Center.
Open-session discussion items include the UC systemwide annual report on green buildings and clean energy policy, updates on reducing the costs of UC buildings and on the condition of university facilities, UC Merced’s University Community Land Co. LLC, and the Davis campus’ multi-year capital improvement program as well as two new building projects – UC Irvine’s engineering unit #3 and the UC Santa Barbara education and social sciences building.
