This is a Notice of Meeting of the Committee on Grounds and Buildings of the University of California Board of Regents on Tuesday, July 19, at the UC San Francisco-Laurel Heights campus, 3333 California St., in San Francisco.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. with public comment, followed by open session.
In the open session, the committee will consider action on budget and
capital improvements approval for the UC Berkeley Davis Hall north replacement
building, the Sierra Terraces housing project at UC Merced and the Long
Hospital and remodels of the Moffitt Hospital's acute care and intensive
care units at UC San Francisco. The committee will also consider action
on environmental and design approvals for the UC San Diego Price Center
expansion and design approval for the Underhill parking facility and
field replacement at UC Berkeley.
Open-session discussion items include design review for housing projects
on the Riverside and San Diego campuses, a design update on the UCSD
music building, the UCSF Mission Bay neuroscience research building,
a study on UC building cost reduction opportunities, and a review of
the UC campus and medical center seismic safety program.
