This is a Notice of Meeting of the Committee on Grounds and Buildings of the University of California Board of Regents on Tuesday, May 17, at 1000 Broadway, Suite 109, in Oakland.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. with public comment, followed by open session.
In the open session, the committee will consider action on budget approval for the Arroyo student housing project at UC Riverside as well as environmental and design approvals for the UC Riverside genomics building and the UC San Diego music building. The committee will also consider action on the environmental impact report and long-range development plan amendment for the hospital replacement program at the San Francisco campus.
Open-session discussion items include preliminary design review for the Price Center expansion and East Campus graduate housing at UC San Diego; a design update on the physical sciences expansion at UC Davis; and a status report on the University Community Land Co., LLC, for UC Merced.
In closed session to consider acquisition or disposition of property [Education Code §92032(b)(6)], the committee will also discuss the UC Merced University Community Land Co., LLC, and approval to enter into an agreement with the City and County of San Francisco and the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency about the expansion of the UCSF Mission Bay campus and a ground lease option for Blocks 36-39 at Mission Bay.
