EVENT: The University of California Board of Regents will make a formal visit to the UC Irvine campus Thursday, Oct. 20. The morning agenda includes a public comment period, an informal morning discussion with 2004 Nobel laureate Irwin Rose, a strategic planning discussion and a tour of the Vista Del Campo student housing community. Following lunch with student leaders and administrators, the afternoon session features a demonstration of a fuel cell hydrogen vehicle and a tour of the Keck Carbon Cycle Accelerator Mass Spectrometry Laboratory.
