UC investment committees to meet August 24

The University of California Board of the Regents' Committee on Investments and Investment Advisory Committee will meet jointly on Thursday, August 24, with teleconference locations in Covel Commons on the UCLA campus and the UCSF-Mission Bay Community Center in San Francisco (1675 Owns St.). The meeting will begin in open session at 1:30 p.m., with public comment.

In open session, the committees will consider action on guidelines for real estate and absolute returns strategies investments, a policy on legal proceedings related to UC investments, and the Regents’ investment policy on campus foundations.

The committees will also discuss the quarterly investment performance summary, real estate portfolio strategy, the provision of endowment alternative asset classes to the campus foundations, the 2006 incentive plan report, risk budgeting and investment management in the Office of the Treasurer, an update on asset allocation and transition for the UC Retirement Plan, the endowment spending study, and the campus foundations quarterly report.
