As part of the University of California’s ongoing commitment to improve oversight and management, including over its compensation policies and practices, Board of Regents Chairman Gerald L. Parsky has appointed search committees for three new positions at the UC Office of the President: Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Compliance Officer.

Serving on the search committee for the Chief Operating Officer will be Regents Richard Blum, Joanne Kozberg and Norm Pattiz; UC President Robert Dynes; and Faculty Representative John Oakley. Provost Rory Hume will be an advisory member.

Serving on the search committee for the Chief Financial Officer will be Regents Blum and Russell Gould, President Dynes and Faculty Representative Oakley. Bruce Darling, senior vice president for university affairs, will be an advisory member.

Serving on the search committee for the Compliance Officer will be Regents Blum, Eddie Island, Eric Juline and Fred Ruiz.

Parsky will chair all three committees.
