BERKELEY -- A campus memorial service for Albert Bowker, former chancellor of the University of California, Berkeley, is set for 4:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, at the Faculty Club.

Bowker was an expert in statistics and an innovative administrator during his decades-long career in higher education. He died on Sunday (Jan. 20) at the age of 88. He had been suffering from pancreatic cancer.
