The University of California Board of Regents will meet in open session via teleconference on Tuesday, Oct. 21, to consider adoption of a final 2008-09 state-funded budget consistent with the one approved by the state. This action to conform UC's budget to the state's occurs at the end of the state budget process each year. The meeting will start at 11 a.m., beginning with public comment and a finance committee session. The full board will then take action on the budget plan.
