The University of California Regents' compliance and audit committee will meet via teleconference on Wednesday, Jan. 7. Beginning at 11 a.m., the committee will convene in closed session to discuss personnel matters.

The committee will then meet in open session to consider adoption of an identity theft prevention implementation plan. The committee will also receive updates on UC's ethics and compliance program and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and related privacy program activities as well as information about UC Irvine compliance efforts, UC Davis internal audit activities, the internal audit quarterly report and industry trends in higher education.
