Three items have been added to the agenda of the regularly scheduled meeting of the University of California Board of Regents on Sept. 22-23, 2004.

At the lunch break on Wednesday, Sept. 22, the regents' nominating committtee will meet in closed session to consider advisory committee assignments for Adam Rosenthal, whose appointment as the student regent-designate will be considered by the board that morning.

At 2 p.m. or upon convening of regular closed session, the regents' finance committee will meet in closed session to consider action to authorizing a lawsuit regarding a violation of the Cartwright Act in Sales of Natural Gas (Regents v. Reliant, Inc. et al.) The regents' laboratory oversight committee will meet in closed session following its open session that day to consider personnel actions resulting from security and safety incidents at Los Alamos National Laboratory.
