This is a Notice of Meeting of the Committee on Grounds and Buildings of the University of California Board of Regents on Tuesday, Nov. 15, at 1000 Broadway, Suite 109, in Oakland.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. with public comment, followed by open session.
 
The committee will consider action on UC's 2006-07 state capital improvements budget; budget and capital improvements approval for the UC Davis Medical Center cancer center expansion; and environmental and design approvals for UC Riverside long-range development plan, UC Irvine engineering unit, and the Arroyo student housing on the Riverside campus.
 
Open-session discussion items include a presentation on the academic context for academic planning, the five-year capital program for state and non-state funds, and an update on transforming capital asset utilization and delivery, as well as design review of the Riverside campus's material science and engineering building.
