This is a Notice of Meeting of the University of California Board of the Regents' Committee on Investments and Investment Advisory Committee on Monday, Nov. 14, at the James E. West Alumni Center on the UCLA campus, with teleconference locations at 111-A University Complex on the UC San Diego campus and at the UC Office of the President facility, at 1111 Franklin St., Room 5326, in Oakland . The meeting will begin in closed session at 1:30 p.m., followed by the public comment period.

In open session, the committees will discuss the quarterly investment performance summary, an overview of UC’s fixed income investments, and the UCLA Foundation’s asset allocation. The committees will also consider action on the treasurer’s annual report and an item calling for the university to divest from four companies doing business in Sudan.

In closed session, the committees will consider action on recommendations for the UC Retirement Plan asset-liability review and asset allocation. A closed regents-only session will also consider approval of the 2004-05 report of accomplishments for former treasurer Russ and discuss compensation for key staff in the treasurer’s office.
