This is a Notice of Meeting of the University of California Board of the Regents' Special Committee to Consider the Selection of a Treasurer and Vice President for Investments on Friday, Sept. 9, at the James E. West Alumni Center on the UCLA campus. The meeting will begin at 1 p.m.

The committee will meet in open session to hear public comment and approve the criteria for selecting a new treasurer. Because this is a personnel matter, the committee will then meet in closed session to consider the selection of candidates to be interviewed. [Education Code Section 92032(b)(7)]

UC treasurer and vice president for investments, David H. Russ, left the university on July 8, for a position as chief investment officer at Dartmouth College. Marie L. Berggren, responsible for UC’s private equity, real estate and absolute return portfolios, is serving as interim treasurer.
