The Grounds and Buildings and Audit committees of the University of California Board of Regents will meet on Tuesday, March 14, at the Bradley International Center on the UCLA campus, in Los Angeles . The meeting is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. with public comment, followed by open session.

In the open session, the grounds and buildings committee will consider action on budget and capital improvements approval for UC Berkeley’s Student Athlete High Performance Center, UC Davis’ Health and Wellness Center and the Robert Mondavi Institute for Wine and Food Science , the Sierra Terraces housing project at UC Merced, and seismic upgrades and clinical expansion at UCSF Mt. Zion seismic buildings as well as environmental and design approvals for the cancer center expansion at UC Davis Medical Center, the UC San Diego Medical Center’s Cardiovascular Center and Thornton Hospital expansion, and the student academic support services building at UC Riverside.

Discussion items include preliminary design review of the UC Irvine social and behavioral Sciences building as well as an u pdate on implementing cost-reduction study recommendations and an audit for selected capital projects at the Berkeley, UCLA and San Diego campuses.
