The University of California Regents’ Committee on Grounds and Buildings will meet in open session on Tuesday, May 16, at the UC San Francisco-Laurel Heights campus, 3333 California St., in San Francisco.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. with public comment, followed by open session.

In the open session, the committee will consider action on budget and capital improvements approval for UC Irvine’s Anteater Recreation Center, UC Merced housing, UC Berkeley’s Davis Hall north replacement building, expansion of the San Diego Supercomputer Center, and the Kinsey Hall seismic corrections and health sciences replacement building at UCLA as well as environmental and design approvals for the UC Irvine social and behavioral sciences building.

Discussion items include updates on UCLA’s seismic plan, the UC Davis Medical Center’s vision for future development, the UC Santa Barbara housing study and the implementation of the UC cost reduction study’s recommendations.
