The University of California Regents' Committee on Grounds and Buildings will meet in open session on Tuesday, Sep. 19, at the UC San Francisco-Mission Bay campus’ community center, 1675 Owens St., in San Francisco.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. with public comment, followed by closed session to discuss the status of litigation related to the UC Santa Cruz 2005-20 Long Range Development Plan. Following this discussion, in open session, the committee will consider action on the environmental impact report and approval of the LRDP (http://lrdp.ucsc.edu).

Also in the open session, the committee will consider action on budget and capital improvements approval for the surgery and emergency services pavilion at UC Davis Medical Center, repairs and refurbishment of UCLA's Sproul Hall, UCSF Mission Bay Hospital and cardiovascular research building, and north campus housing at UC San Diego as well as environmental and design approvals for UC Merced's logistical support/service facilities building.

Discussion items include preliminary design review of the north campus housing at UC San Diego as well as updates on implementing UC’s Cost Reduction Study recommendations and SB 1953 compliance at UC medical centers.
