UC regents’ investment committee to meet next Tuesday

The University of California Board of the Regents' Committee on Investments will meet on Thursday, March 6, with teleconference locations at UCLA’s Covel Commons, the UCSF-Mission Bay Community Center (1675 Owens St.) and 401 B St., Suite 1200, in San Diego. The meeting will begin in open session at 1:30 p.m., with public comment.

The committee will discuss the quarterly investment performance summary, a report on UC’s Sudan divestment, investing in commodities, the UC Foundation Annual Endowment Report for fiscal year 2005-06, and the transfer of assets and liabilities from the UC Retirement Plan to the Los Alamos National Security, LLC Defined Benefit Pension Plan and Agreement regarding the ongoing obligations of the Department of Energy to fund UCRP.

The committee will consider action to approve asset allocation review / recommendations, the expenditure rate for the General Endowment Pool and the endowment administration cost recovery rate.
