The University of California Board of the Regents' Nominating Committee will meet in closed session via teleconference on Monday, Jan. 8, beginning at 2:15 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to consider the nomination of a vice chair of the board and committee assignments for Lt. Governor John Garamendi, who serves as a regent by virtue of his office.

Committee members include Regents Russell Gould, Joanne C. Kozberg, Sherry L. Lansing, George M. Marcus and Norman J. Pattiz.
