Seven University of California campuses were ranked in Kiplinger's "100 Best Values in Public Colleges" survey for 2009-10. Schools were assigned in-state and out-of-state rankings based on academic quality, cost and financial aid. Additional factors include four- and six-year graduation rates and average debt before graduation.
