The University of California Board of Regents will hold its regular business meeting Tuesday, Jan. 19, through Thursday, Jan. 21, at the Mission Bay Community Center (1675 Owens St.) on the UCSF Mission Bay campus. The Regents will be briefed on a variety of issues over the three-day meeting, including finances and health services. On Wednesday, UC Vice President Patrick Lenz will provide an update on the 2010-11 budget to the Finance Committee in light of the governor's proposed budget and the persistent state budget crisis.

On Thursday, the Regents' Health Services Committee will receive presentations from Senior Vice President John Stobo on the performance of UC's medical centers, related enterprises and the schools of public health.
