Seven University of California campuses are among Kiplinger's magazine's annual list of the top 100 best values in public colleges and universities.

Despite recent fee hikes, Kiplinger's recognized UC for low average debts and high six-year graduation rates.

Campuses listed include San Diego, ranked 12th (in-state); UCLA, 13th; Berkeley, 16th; Irvine, 17th; Santa Barbara, 34th; Davis, 37th; and Santa Cruz, 69th.
