Gov. Jerry Brown today (Oct. 16) sent an open letter to California's college students, urging them to vote in the upcoming election.
"Critical choices will be made at this election," Brown said in his letter. "California voters will directly decide issues affecting college tuition and education funding, the state budget process, punishment for crimes, and food labeling rules. And the candidates chosen will shape the policies of our state for years to come."
