The action item regarding Professional Degree Supplemental Tuition (PDST) levels, scheduled to be taken up Wednesday, Nov. 14, before the UC Regents Committee on Finance, has been postponed and will be rescheduled for a future meeting. This was done at the request of Gov. Brown. The governor, who serves on the Board of Regents by virtue of his office, asked for additional time to allow him to develop a better understanding of the policies and methodology involved in the setting of fee levels at individual graduate professional programs charging PDSTs.

Because Gov. Brown's office has announced that he plans to participate in the meeting Wednesday morning, news media representatives are encouraged to arrive earlier than usual.

The meeting begins at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, with remarks from UC President Mark G. Yudof and Regents Chair Sherry Lansing.

Agenda items include approval of the 2013-14 budget. No action is scheduled on systemwide undergraduate tuition or fees.
