Seventy-six University of California scientists have been elected as fellows to the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). They are among 701 AAAS fellows elected this year. The new group of fellows brings UC's total fellowship to 783.
The AAAS, established in 1848, is the world's largest general scientific society with a mission to "advance science and serve society" through initiatives in science policy, international programs, science education and more.
