Knowledgeable advisors and recent returnees from the University of California Education Abroad Program (UCEAP) will be present to discuss how study abroad can work with their academic plans and budget, and answer questions about financial aid, scholarships, interning abroad, academic planning by major, travel destinations, and more.
UCEAP has a presence in 42 countries with 140 academically developed programs at 115 top-ranked partner universities, offering a vast array of options for students. Helpful advisors at the Study Abroad Fairs are equipped to help students identify the right program for their majors and individual priorities.
“Our expert staff is available to proactively advise students on ways to integrate study abroad into their academic and financial planning—a process critical for successful participation,” said Jean-Xavier Guinard, Associate Vice Provost and Executive Director of the University of California Education Abroad Program. “In addition to being a worthwhile academic program to pursue, UCEAP prepares students for professional work in a global economy by encouraging them to take advantage of unique internships, laboratory research, independent research projects, and community service opportunities around the world.”
