Conference on United States-European Union Trade Relations at UCLA


WHAT:
The UCLA Center for European and Russian Studies and the World Trade Center Association, Los Angeles-Long Beach, will co-sponsor a half-day conference on United States-European Union trade relations.

WHEN:
9 a.m.-2 p.m., Friday, March 15 (includes lunch at 12:30 p.m.).

WHERE:
UCLA Faculty Center.

SPEAKERS:
Luncheon keynote speaker Michael Calingaert, executive director of the Council for the United States and Italy, visiting scholar at the Brooks Institution, will speak on the state of and prospects for U.S.-E.U. trade relations, taking into account relevant developments on the two sides of the Atlantic. Other speakers include experts from E.U. member states, prominent businesses and international scholars.

COST:
$25 to the public; free to UCLA students and faculty.
Parking on campus costs $6.
