This is a Notice of a Special Meeting on Monday, March 4, of the University of California Board of Regents' Committee on Oversight of the Department of Energy Laboratories concurrent with the Committee to Advise the President on the Selection of a Director for Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.

Scheduled to be held in building 661 at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, the meeting is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. in closed session for the purpose of considering matters related to the appointment and employment of a new director [personnel matters, Education Code section 92032(b)(7)], to be followed at 9:30 a.m. with a period to receive public comment related to the appointment of a new laboratory director. At 10:30 a.m., the committee is scheduled to reconvene in closed session.

Please note that the starting time following the first scheduled session is an estimate. If the first session ends early, the next scheduled session may convene immediately.

Attendance is expected of only those regents who are advisory committee members (David S. Lee, Velma Montoya, Robert C. Morrison, John J. Moores, Peter Preuss, and UC President Richard C. Atkinson).
