This is a Notice of a Special Meeting of the University of California Board of Regents' Committee on Grounds and Buildings via teleconference on Wednesday, May 8, 2002. The committee will meet to consider environmental certification and design approval for three new buildings on the UC Merced campus -- the library and information technology center, the science and engineering building, and the classroom and office building. Approval by the regents' committee is required before the State Public Works Board can approve these projects at its May 10 meeting. This special meeting notice is issued to comply with the state's pertinent open meeting laws.
