This is a Notice of Meeting of the University of California Board of Regents on Wednesday, Nov. 13, and Thursday, Nov. 14, 2002. This regular business meeting of the board will be held at the UC San Francisco-Laurel Heights campus, 3333 California St., in San Francisco.

Wednesday's meeting is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. with public comment, followed by an open session of the regents' Committee on Grounds and Buildings, scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. Agenda items for the Wednesday morning open sessions include a briefing on the 2003-04 budget. The Wednesday afternoon agenda will be held in closed session for the purpose of discussing personnel, legal and investment matters.

Thursday's meeting is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. with public comment, followed by an open session of the regents' Committee on Educational Policy, scheduled to begin at 8:50 a.m. On Thursday morning, UC faculty will make a presentation on the first year of comprehensive review in undergraduate admissions.
