This is a Notice of Meeting of the University of California Board of Regents on Wednesday, July 16, and Thursday, July 17, 2003. This regular business meeting of the board will be held at the UC San Francisco-Laurel Heights campus, 3333 California St., in San Francisco.

Wednesday's meeting is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. with public comment, followed by open sessions that will include action on proposed student fee increases for 2003-04, an update on the university's 2003-04 budget, and discussion centered on an overview of the university's schools of medicine.

Thursday's meeting is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. with public comment, followed by open session. Regents will consider action on the adoption of the Academic Senate's recommendations regarding freshmen admissions testing and action on revision of the faculty code of conduct relating to a policy on faculty-student relations.
