This is Notice of a Special Meeting of the University of California Board of Regents nominating committee in closed session on Wednesday, July 16, upon adjournment of the afternoons closed session at UC San Francisco Laurel Heights. The purpose of the meeting is to consider advisory committee assignments for regents-designate Gary Novack and Mark Ornellas, effective July 17. Additionally, the committee will consider advisory committee assignments, effective Sept. 1, for faculty representative Lawrence Pitts and incoming faculty representative George Blumenthal [Education Code section 92032(e)].

This meeting notice is issued to comply with the states pertinent open meeting laws.
