Mar. 1, UCB - A free, public demonstration by David Byrne, a New York City artist and musician formerly with the Talking Heads, about PowerPoint as an art form.
Byrne is the author of "Envisioning Emotional Epistemological Information," a new book of his artwork done with PowerPoint, a software application designed for presentations.

WHERE: 155 Dwinelle Hall, the University of California, Berkeley. The building is just northwest of Sather Gate near the southern edge of campus. DETAILS: Seating is limited for this event, which is part of an art, technology and culture series organized by UC Berkeley's Center for New Media. Advance tickets are required. One ticket per person will be available at the main eastside entrance to Dwinelle Hall starting at 6 p.m. on the day of the event.
