WHAT: A panel discussion at the University of California, Berkeley, on "The Consequences of the War on Terrorism."

WHO: Participants will include:

* Financier George Soros, author of "The Age of Fallibility: The Consequences of the War on Terrorism"
* Chris Edley, dean of UC Berkeley's School of Law (Boalt Hall)
* Mark Danner, a UC Berkeley journalism professor and author of "The Secret Way to War" and "Torture and Truth"
* Lowell Bergman, UC Berkeley's Reva and David Logan Distinguished Professor of Investigative Journalism, correspondent for "Frontline" on the Public Broadcasting Service, and a Pulitzer Prize winner
* Dana Priest, a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and national security correspondent for the Washington Post

Orville Schell, dean of UC Berkeley's Graduate School of Journalism, will moderate.
